Andrea Caccese – Nowhere
Nowhere channels the voice of Brooklyn-based songwriter Andrea Caccese.
Following his involvement within many independent European bands, including recent projects such as Scandinavian dream-pop duo “I Used To Be A Sparrow” and post-rock band “Feed Me To The Waves”, Andrea relocated to New York City, where he keeps creating music.
I spent the better part of the past decade traveling from place to place, working on different music with fellow artists across country lines and cultural backgrounds. The idea behind this project is connected to my journey – the search for intimacy and familiarity even in spite of constant change.”
Nowhere embraces a sparse and intimate concoction of folk fragility, punk rock immediacy and shoegaze textures, with personal lyricism unfolding through understated acoustic melodies and haunting atmospheres.
