Bands Battle for Anthony’s Cause
Our friends Masquarade and The Brew Coffeeshop in Manchester, Tn are teaming up to present a huge “Battle of The Bands” on September 10 in beautiful downtown Manchester. This charity event will benefit Anthony’s Cause, a local charity formed by Richard Banaski and Robert Lowry of Manchester. The gentlemen met by chance at the coffee shop and in their conversation discovered that both of their families had been deeply affected by autism. Furthermore they both disclosed their individual plans for beginning a non-profit to try to help others so affected. That was all it took. Shortly thereafter, Anthony’s Cause was up and running.
Pleased to Help
Middle Tennessee Music’s own C Bret Campbell aka Jedi Bret has been asked to be a judge at the event and we can not say just how pleased we are to be able to help! “I have been involved in charity work on the fringes since he was a child, recently organizing an event for the benefit of the Coffee County Red Raider Marching Band. The Red Raider Jam II was a huge success and I am very happy that the organizers for the Anthony’s Cause Battle of the Bands have asked me to be of service. After all that is what the maker put us all here for – to take care of one another.”

A little about Anthony’s Cause:
Anthony’s Cause, a nonprofit organization, was formed by two Manchester families deeply affected by Autism. At a by chance meeting at The Brew, Robert Lowry and Richard Banaski discovered each of them had been affected by Autism, and both had plans to start outreach programs. Together they formed Anthony’s Cause in hopes to raise the money needed to bring change and awareness, first to the autistic community and then where ever it is needed.

Please consider attending the event, and perhaps donating to the cause. Perhaps you are not in this part of the country. In that case, we would encourage you to get involved with an Autism Charity of your choice in your area.
