The Loot by Johnnie Lee Jordan

NYC-based rocker, Johnnie Lee Jordan, announces his brand new single “The Loot” from his upcoming LP, Run, which is slated for release February 20, 2015. Jordan’s latest LP draws influence from his background of performing live on the Lower East Side of NYC. Run was co-produced by Mike Sapone whose credentials include Taking Back Sunday and Brand New.
At 18, Jordan moved to New York City where he has been performing ever since. Influences for Jordan include Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and The Replacements. Jordan sometimes plays with The Boys (Jimmy Usher and Joshua Morin), whom he refers to as a “mastermind alliance,” not a “backing band,” and who accompanied Jordan on his latest release.
Jordan received praise from The Deli, calling his CMJ performance “a most excellent modern variation of old school rockabilly and blues rock that made me question which state, and perhaps which decade I lived in.” In addition to CMJ, Jordan’s performances include Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and an appearance in GAP’s “Back To Blue” campaign. Stay tuned for more from Johnnie Lee Jordan!
